Mies van der Rohe used basic, elegant materials such as marble, glass and steel.

You can visit the famous Dalis theatre museum constructed by Dali himself. It is a very nice and interesting museum. A funny museum too, nice to visit with children ! There is also a small jewelry museum on side of the big one. You can admire beautiful jewels created by Dali.

If you want to eat in a typical restaurant in the centre of Figueras, go and eat at “LOU d’OR” . This family run restaurant has a lunch menu at 10 euros ! and it is worth it … delicious kitchen. You can choose among 4 different starters and 4 plates. For desert you can choose in the desert buffet.
There is even a big terrace on the back side of the restaurant.

This weekend on saturday night some 20 museum open their doors for free. From 7 pm to 1 am visitors can explore the museums world. Moreover there will be taking place a range of  free acitivities concerning interculturality all initiated with the aim to help people to apreciate the diversity in our cultural system or encourage new kinds of creativity. Pablo Ruiz Picasso was born in Malaga the 25th of October 1881. The family moved in Barcelona in September 1895.
The Picasso Museum in Barcelona is indispensable for understanding the formative years of Pablo Ruiz Picasso. The Miro museum has been built by Miro himself. So the paintings are on the best place for them to get admired.

Throughout his life, Miro used different kind of materials.  He explored different art forms such as painting, sculpture, ceramics, tapestry, theatre…

It is located on the Montjuic hill. You can take the subway and a cable car to get there (only one ticket).
