The owners , a catalan architect and a Vietnamese cook have created a very friendly place . Very good cooking.
This is a fantastic place to visit once you’ve done the tapas and catalan fare. Amazing blend of tastes that truly defines fusion. To top it off, it’s done in a stylish and friendly atmosphere, with the owner himself not only taking the orders but spending real time with you. Reasonable prices.

From the 19th till the 25th of February Carnival will be celebrated. The most spectacular place to celebrate carnival is Sitges.
Jueves Lardero or Fat Tuesday marks the beginning of carnival with a huge celebration of local dishes and the arrival of the King of the Carnestoltes. A big parade will cross the city which will be packed with locals and lots of tourists.
Sitges is a party town and carnival is the party of all parties ( The gay carnival starts already 4 days earlier.)! Discotheques organize special theme parties like La noche rosa ( Pink night), Noche de las mantillas, Noche de las touristas ( tourist night) and Noche de las viudas ( Widows night).
The festivities end with the Burial of a Sardine on Ash Wednesday ( the 25th of February).
Carnival fans who want to celebrate this big event can travel easily by train from Barcelona to Sitges. Recommended is to take the last train, party all night and to take the first train back to rest during the day in your apartment in Barcelona.

When you stay longer than just a couple of days in Barcelona and you want to visit a village outside of the city we would like to recommend you to go to Sitges. This small city about 35km south of Barcelona is familiar for it´s filmfestival, carnival, it´s big gay scene and nightlife. Between the hills and the sea it offers you beautiful beaches and historical sites.
What to visit in Sitges:
* The old town – guided tours.
* The beaches – Sitges has 17 sand beaches. 11 of them are urban beaches of which the last one, Playa del Muerto, is the gay beach.
* Cau Ferrat museum - Cau Ferrat was the house/ studio of artist and writer Santiago Rusiñol one of the leading figures of Catalan modernism.
You can go to Sitges by train departing from Estación de Sants. ( 25 min. ride)

The british architect Richard Rogers, the man behind London´s Millennium Dome has designed the new look of the former bullring Las Arenas.
At this moment still under construction, but at the end of this year the former bullring on Plaza Espanya will open his doors as a new shopping center.
Plaza Espanya is a touristic attraction as you can find here the magic fountain, the museum MNAC and the Caixa Forum (free entrance). Also it´s the entrance to the lovely Montjuic mountain and lots of fairs are being held in the FIRA, the main exhibition halls of Barcelona.
Considered one of the most attractive squares of Barcelona you can rent an apartment close to the Plaza Espanya
Enjoy your stay!

The New entrance door of the Sagrada Familia … the Passion.
You can see why it is called the Expiatory Temple …. emaciated figures of Christ being flogged and on the crucifix …the work of Josep Maria Subirachs.
It is the west facade , the Passion; the East facade is called the Nativity and is Gaudi’s work.
The architect of the Sagrada Familia , Antoni Gaudi (1852-1926 ) worked with his faith in God. Since 2003, the Catholic Chuch is considering Gaudi becoming a holy Saint.

Barcelona has established itself as one of Europe´s most popular tourist destinations, and it is not difficult to understand why. With its ideal climate, its modernist architecture, its typical gastronomy, its lovely beaches, Catalunya´s capital can be proud of what it has to offer visitors. Transformed by the 1992 Olympics, the city has attracted millions of curious independent travellers and, in the last few years, it has become very popular as a family destination.
There are many things to do for families with children like:
Activities in Imaginarium (every Saturday in this Toy Shop) Passeig de Gracia 103
A visit to the aquarium http://www.aquariumbcn.com/AQUARIUM/index.php?wlang=en
